A recent comment from a customer who has had our Portable full size goals for over twenty years. We were able to easily supply a new part and the portable full size goals can now carry on for the next twenty years. When we say our football goalposts are engineered to last they do. Other companies deliberately design and make football goals to only last a certain time (around five years at most) and this is because they want to sell again the same product to customers time and time again. Many goalpost manufacturers sell through third party distributors and this means they need to cut corners on design to enable a third party profit to be derived from the goal posts. The ethos of our company is completely different, we look at existing products in use and see how they can be approved. This particular customer Simon Corker has had two of portable full size goals over twenty years. He also has some slightly smaller ones (16 x 7) that are over fifteen years old.(this is in 2010)
“I am happy to say these portable full size goals are pound for pound the most used and pleasurable items I have ever bought. We also have two of your five a side goals! It looks like a football academy round here. The 16′ x 7′ goalpost is literally played in every day so you can imagine the pounding it gets – they are so tough it is amazing. Unfortunately it blew down in a storm not from normal use and we need a new part. If we could buy one that would be great.” Simon Coker
